Crafting a striking four-bedroomed home over three levels is always an exciting venture, especially when finished in beautiful natural cedar cladding. This unique design features a clever semi-basement dedicated entirely to the family’s boys, providing them with two bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom of their own. Because the plot is nestled close to a small river just off the Thames, the basement sits entirely below the natural water table. It was a fantastic engineering challenge for our team, but by utilising advanced structural waterproofing, we delivered a completely secure, dry, and beautiful living zone that gave the family absolute peace of mind.
