Project 9

Our client has enjoyed living in the same Surrey town for a number of years and was delighted to learn that she could have a brand new energy efficient house in her back garden thereby staying in the area with her family and friends.

Sundial’s challenge on this site is to protect the trees and shrubs whilst creating an entrance wide enough to allow access to plant and machinery to effect the reduced dig to comply with the finished ridge height on the new house.

The site in the rear part of the client’s garden
Day one, Scott is starting to widen the entrance to the new site having set in place the tree protection fencing
Preparing the ground for the temporary road to the site.
Having carefully removed the retaining wall we start to reshape the ground for the new driveway, note the terram laid before the crushed concrete.
Now we have a firm base to the site to start the reduced dig. Again note the tree protection demanded by the planners.
