Project 4 - Cuckfield Golf Centre

Our clients wanted to realise their long term dream of owning their very own golf club house in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Our brief was to create a user friendly club house that also had a basement to store all the maintenance machinery.

t the rear of the property the decking with recessed lighting is complete giving perfect views of the course.
The dramatic, black shower cubicles are in place and with over one meter square bases we expect them to be popular.
FInally, as an extra, we are enhancing the look of the basement.
The exterior is nearing completion with the fitting of the external lights and the construction of the front garden.
The fully opening patio doors have now been installed so we can construct the external decking to create a level finish with the doors.
With the kit erected and the roof tiled, work can now begin inside with the first fix of electrics, plumbing and carpentry by laying the underfloor heating and screeding.

With all the sections of the floor successfully laid the double skimmed walls could now be built with reinforced steel between ready to accept an infill of extra strong concrete.
With 3 loads of extra strong quick drying concrete poured on site late in the afternoon, it was a race to get the first section of the basement floor tamped level. It was successfully concluded by 10.00pm under floodlight.
The basement has now been excavated to a depth of 3 meters and the steel reinforcement and shuttering is now in place to form the basement floor over a plastic membrane that will be lapped up the walls.
Within days, using heavy plant & machinery the site has been excavated to form the basement for Malcolm's green keeping gear to be stored and the buggies serviced.
We started on the 7th Feb 2006 by setting out the levels on the sloping site to determine the finished floor level of the entrance and the depth of the basement.
